We were at Alex's violin recital and we caught a few seconds of Madi being cute. :) More to come on the recital. :)

Welcome to the world, Madeline Sarah!

On June 17 th , 2009, at 05:35am, my little girl came into the world, weighing in at 7lbs, 12 oz, making her my heaviest baby, and 20 inches long. :) In hindsight, I realize that I was likely in labor all day on the 16 th . I must have just decided it was just more practice. :) The night of the 16 th , my mother, who was in town to share this occasion, took my family out to dinner along with some family friends, Don and Denny, at the Olive Garden. It must have been fairly obvious that I was near birth implosion, because we were sat in the "special labor room" of the restaurant. Apparently, a few women before me had gone into labor shortly after dining there, one of which had her water break right there in the room. My mother found that promising. Her time was ticking, as she had arrived four days prior and this was Tuesday. She had to leave Saturday, regardless of the status of my pregnancy. Another month down...

...and not full of too many surprises. We had some wonderful family times, Alex got up early last Saturday and she helped her brother make french toast for the family. :) I was able to get up and snap a few photos of the budding chefs before they were done. :) It was delicious! :) Great kids, I tell ya. :) Liam was a proud boy and loved donning his new chefs hat and apron he got for Christmas. :) Alex made Honor Roll this semester. That makes 3 in a row, and shes half way to the presidential award. :) She is doing a lot better in school these days, Although she does seem to be getting into trouble with the same kids... arg. We are making steady progress toward purchasing our home. We are at that point where we are getting calls every day or so about needing this and that from underwriters. I swear, we are starting to feel like criminals!! But, alas, it should all be over in a few short weeks. We are very excited and cant wait to have the keys and get working on making our house a home!...

Gonna be updating,,, it may look strange. :)

So, I have decided that Im going to go ahead and use this blog for something good. :) If you read my blog, you may start to notice that posts appear from 4 months ago that were never there before, lol. I am going to finish old blogs that I never had a chance to, and appropriately date others. :) I dont know that anyone actually ever comes here anyway, but I just thought I would share. :)
